 Social Media is a significant part of many peoples life’s. We all have social media apps or know someone who does. My freshman year of high school everyone started receiving messages on Instagram from a follower or a friend and the hacker would find out some excuse to send a link and as soon as that person clicked the link the hacker would know all of you’re information. This was extremely scary, anytime some one I didn’t really talk to sent me a link I would not respond to or click any link and thankfully that’s what kept me from getting hacked. These hackers where trying to steal information off peoples Instagram. They would ultimately take over your Instagram account, look through your followers then try to hack them, they also would be able to access your private information like a phone number, address, what school you go to, and who you’re family members are. This is something that if brought awareness to more people could potentially be more cautious and learn to avoid this horrible situation. When a random number calls and you and you aren’t expecting from a job interview, confirming an appointment or anything that would cause an unknown number to call please don’t answer. If a random number sends you a link or texts you block the number. Last but not least if there is a known hacker going around you’re area don’t respond to an account you’re are suspicious of!!
